Sara's working methods
When appropriate Sara is keen to talk about trends in environmental art. Her degree found her focussing on installation and site specific public art but recently she has been looking at Land art and art that has an agenda to use scrap or recycled materials. She is happy to discuss differences and commonalities between recycled (eco) art and environmental art, as defined by the art world.
Recycling

The Rocombe Tree was made (mainly) out of recycled material by children at The Art Farm Project. These workshops were lead by artists Sara Roberts and Gaby Lovatt over a 10 day period. It is an example of recycled plastics and the high colour appearance that this can give.
The fantastical island experience was a series of workshops, funded by The Contemporary Craft Fair, where children rebuilt their world using recycled materials. This project permitted a playful response to the ever pressing question of climate change, whilst raising awareness of the issue at hand.![]()
